Darin and Joanna 101

Once upon a time there was a little girl.... and a little boy.

They grew up and went off to high school.

She was busy doing this...

He was busy doing that....

They found each other pretty cute and could be found at all of the dances like this....

They grew up even more and did this...

The more time they spent together, the more they couldn't stay apart.

Well the day finally came that he needed to do this.Tears were shed and pounds were lost, but she knew this is where he was suppose to be.

They wrote every week....for two whole years. Not one week was missed. While he was busy doing this...

She needed to get away too. She could be found here....and here.... and here.... and not to forget here.

Even though she thought the day would never actually arrive. He came home!
5 weeks later she was sporting a beautiful diamond.

They were officially engaged. The night it happened she laughed...not cried. She thought it a little funny that she was actually marrying the only boy she had ever loved. Or kissed. You might find that boring.....or romantic...either way it is what it is and with a handsome face like that I don't think anyone can blame her. He swept her off her feet the second he gave her that smile.
It was this day nine years ago that He took Her hand and promised her forever. He also promised that he would always make her laugh....
Well three houses...
one...
two...three...one dog...
and three kids later,He is still holding true to his promise, he makes her laugh just about every day!
Happy anniversary to the greatest guy I know. I am lucky to have had my eye on you for over half of my life! Thank you for loving me and for putting up with my flaws. I think you are as handsome as the day I first laid eyes on you! I love you!

I told you so!

Have you ever warned your kids of something, they don't listen and then you have to hold back the "I told you so!". Well not to long ago, Camden's second tooth was very loose. I tried to trick him into letting me or his dad pull it out. It was a no go. I warned him that one of these days he was going to be eating and his tooth would pop out and he would swallow it. Well the fateful day came at last. It was a turkey sandwich I believe. Camden started screaming and coughing. Sure enough he had swallowed his tooth. After calming his fears that he wouldn't die, it turned out to be kind of funny. Until he realized he had no tooth to give to the tooth fairy. He came up with a clever plan. The tooth fairy still delivered.

fabulous fall

I just thought I should prove that we did have a little bit of fun this fall at our house. I've really got to stop procrastinating!

Our trees are still quite small so to get in on the leaf action, we went and helped Darin's mom rake leaves. The kids had a blast!

The pumpkin walk....Fall isn't fall without it. The kids had fun and we had fun watching them!

We had one early snow storm. The snow didn't last long, but long enough to make the first snowman of the year!

Halloween. What's better than your own fireman, football player and witch!
Ward halloween party. Carter, Lewis and Camden

Halloween day. They had fun, but boy was it cold....the pictures make it look warm!

Myah was frozen...not really loving it!
Camden and his friend Kaden

Myah was much more content in the stroller with her gloves and jacket. She didn't even ask to get out to go trick-or-treat. Carter would just get an extra piece at each house and hand it to her...what a good brother!

Half way through Darin and I switched. Myah was much happier handing out treats with me in the house. She went crazy every time the doorbell rang!
And here we all are visiting Oma. Darin really outdid himself this year. The best part...he wore that to work. Can you imagine meeting your P.T. for the first time in that get-up? lol
Happy Halloween.....next up Thanksgiving!

The Fun of the Chase

How many are we entertaining out there?
