Rolie Polie or Thumper....28 weeks and counting

So I feel as though I have been officially been taken over by an alien! Any of you who have been pregnant before know exactly what I am talking about. Last night I got up with one of the boys and when I went to lay back down my little diva decided to put on a show of her own! She wiggled and punched and kicked and my stomach felt as though it had a mind of it's own. I have to admit it is the most incredible feeling to know you have a little person inside of you---and no it hasn't got to the point that all of the moving is painful so despite my need for sleep I just laid there and enjoyed knowing I had a little baby snuggled inside my tummy. I am hoping though that all of this activity isn't an indicator that I will have a overly active child---we are hoping #3 comes out as our most mellow child. We are still struggling with a name to call her. I try to come up with new names almost everyday, but there are a few that keep sticking out as front runners. So if you would like to vote on your favorite, here they are in no particular order 1. Mauren (I actually like the spelling Maren, but we want to pronounce it Mar---like March not Mare and we don't want the poor girl to go through life always having her name mis-pronounced.). 2. Chelsea (Chelsea Chase is kind of cute, don't you think---drawback, all my kids would start with the letter C---something I had never intended and if we have more children no more C names are on our list). 3. Hannah---love this name, always have---kind of common as I have several friends with daughters this same name. 4. Myah---wanted this name if Carter was a girl, but am still trying to convince Darin that it could be the name for his little princess. I have a bunch more but those are the top runners. So if you'd like to give me your opinion or any other names you would like to throw out there I would love any input! In the mean time I am just going to call her Thumper (or Thumperina would be more fitting) as that is what she does best!

I love Mauren and Mya. They are both beautiful classic names. I loved picking out girl names. I still have a list about 30 names long! :) If you click the link to Jon and Trisha's blog-and go to her archives from October, she has a step by step on how to scrap your template. The first one taught me how to download papers, and the second was way easier to apply them to your template. If you need help let me know.

I think Chelsea Chase is adorable. I am a fan of same first name first letter as the same first letter last name. (wow, did that make any sense??) That's why we went with Samantha South. Just kinda flows.

Good luck with your little diva. :)

I remember seeing my whole stomach shift from one side to the other and it totally looked alien. I know how you feel, but it is cool to think of that cute little one hibernating in there!! I love Mauren, it is so classic and different!!

I think Chelsea Chase is really cute. However, do not name her that: her signature will be no fun to write her whole life because you gave her two C's. And yes, she could marry a guy w/a different first letter for his last name, but then she could do what I did. Marry a guy w/the last name starting with O. And her signature will still be blah because she has C's and O's - the most boring capital letters to sign. You'd think I'd be over this by now. Ha ha! I do like Mauren though. I used to love Hannah too (ever since jr high), but then everyone else started loving it too. Are you sure you wanted my opinion on this? :) Good luck!

I am a big Chelsea Chase fan as well! I have a neice named Chelsea who is darling, which may or may not effect how I feel about the name. But really, I think it is darling. And you've got a cute thing going with the letter C -- there is nothing to be ashamed of! I'm so excited you are getting your girl. You will have to post lots of updates as you put together her nursery -- I'm sure it will be darling!

I think they're all cute, but Chelsea and Hannah are my favorites. In my family, we have Kelli, Katie, Karlee...and Jake. It always got a laugh that Jake didn't start with a "K" and I don't think it's given him a complex about not belonging or anything, so don't worry if you don't have more "C" names. And Hannah is just so pretty, you never know how naming trends will go...maybe no one will use it this year because they think it's too popular and a hundred people will use Mya. Anyway, I'm really excited for you to have a girl. They are tons of fun and I think you have even more fun with it when you've had a boy (or 2) first.

For obvious reasons I love the name Hannah! So that's my #1 choice. She would be your third child.... and so was my Hannah. Hannah Chase. love it!! do it! Are you going to give her a middle name?
My second choice is Chelsea. Chelsea Chase does have a ring to it. I'm just so excited your having a girl. She is going to be a doll!!

Chelsea Chase is so cute - of course I named mine Hailey Hill so I guess I like those kind of names. The other ones are cute too. Maybe you'll have to see her to decide (?)

Joanna, I found your blog through Mandy's. I agree that names are so hard to pick out! I really like Chelsea, although you couldn't go wrong with any of the names that you have picked out!

How many are we entertaining out there?
