Fall Soccer:
Soccer started last week. Camden was really excited. He didn't have any friends on his team this time which he was a little bummed about, but he was excited anyway. It is fun to watch him play! He is getting too big!

KiNdErGaRtEnI can't believe I have a school aged child! Where have the years gone! Camden started school last week. He was sooooo ready. They had kindergarten assessment so he started a week after everyone else. And even once he started he went one day and then not the next and then a short day the next and then a 3 day weekend so it will really officially begin tomorrow. He likes it though. I took him on the first day.....he was pretty mad at me for not letting him ride the bus. Seriously he could be a little traumatized that he is leaving me to go into the big bad world, but no....just excited!
Walking in the school for the first time. He was pretty excited about the rolling back pack. Don't you love the way Carter is just leading the way thinking he is so big!

On Friday I let him ride the bus. He was so excited he could hardly stand it. I think we were outside ready to go 20 min. early. I was a little nervous about sending him and was going to go to the school to make sure he got there ok, but a neighbor offered so I just hugged him and kissed him good-bye and watched my little 5 year old grow up!
Camden you are such a great kid. Full of spunk, big brother bossiness, love and laughter. I am so proud of you! (I sure love this little kid!)

I am so jealous of the bus. He is so cute, I love the attitude picture! I had a hard time when my first started school, it's a new adventure.
If it makes you feel any better, I have to pay for the bus. We live too close to the school to get a bus but too far really to send your kids off walking alone so our neighborhood charters a bus every year. I really feel it is worth it not to haul all of my kids in the morning in the car. I have to pick him up, but that isn't as big of a deal...and we carpool.
My oldest loves to ride the bus to school and home again. I have to take her to the bus stop and it is on the other side of the block. So I told her I would just take her to school because we live only 1 mile away from the school. But she informed me that she wants to RIDE the bus. She is a very social little girl. I was worried about my little girl on the bus the first little while too. this year she is in 1st grade and loves it. We asked her what her favorite part of school was and she said SCHOOL Lunch! Then she said, well, maybe school lunch and reading. She loves to read! Good luck with kindergarten. It will be a great year!
Kindergarten is so much fun! Dalton loved it and is still just as thrilled with 1st grade. He rides the bus as well and I think it is one of his favorite parts about the day.
