So this just made me laugh and I wanted proof in the future. This morning I was telling Camden which schools he will be attending as he gets older. After we finished high school he asked me which college he would have to go to. I proceeded to tell him he could choose any college he wanted. He thought about it for a minute and then said he decided he would go to the university close to where we live. I asked him how come and he said:
"So, I can live by you!"
And then his face lit up and he said:
"I know, when our neighbors sale their house and move, I will buy it and live next YOU!!!!"
For the rest of the morning he just had this giddy grin and had a huge smile on his face and just kept saying :
"It is going to be so much fun to be your neighbor mom!"
I just smiled and thought how great it would be if he always will think that much of his dad and me! Soon he was in his coat and backpack and running out the door to catch the bus, when he turned around and smiled at me and said:
"Don't worry mom, I will make you pwoud of me!"
What a fun little kid...most of the time :)

So cute! Little boys love their moms. My little brother Steve told my mom (when he was really young) that when he gets older he wants to marry her b/c he loves her so much. So sweet. I guess if the "love-o-meter" were to gage Camdens love for you it would be VERY STRONG which means you are definately doing something right as his mom. He obviously loves you SO much!!
Sure you told him he can go to whatever college he wants to! I'm sure that you and Darin, not to mention your families, have absolutely no preference about the school he attends!
What a sweet boy, Jo. I hope when he grows up he will still want to be your neighbor. I don't doubt that will be the case.
"I will make you pwoud of me"??? Did you cry? I think I would've! That's really precious!
That is the cutest thing ever...I hope he will always remember that. You must remind him of it often.
I still tell my boys that they have to stay right by me, so they better marry someone who likes me! Oh! how sad would that be if the girl they marry didn't like our family. I think about that often. that is the down fall of boys. you always have your girls, but the boys...Oh, I can't even think of it. They will just HAVE to stay by me and like me dangit!
I bet you were MuSh after that. I have to say that is about the sWeEEtest thing I have ever heard.
