Myah....Ouch!

So we were blessed with two crazy rambunctious boys first. Luckily we have had no broken bones, concussions, or even any stitches. Then we were blessed with a little prancing girl. She walks around on her toes...it really looks like a prance a princess would do. She wants her fingernails painted and loves wearing tutu's. So guess who ends up with the stitches..... It all started as an innocent lunch at McDonald's playland. I had met up with my friend Cami from college and her two cute girls. We were just packing up to leave. Carter and Myah were chasing each other in circles by the window. All of a sudden Myah trips and hits her head on the window seal. I went running over to comfort her when I a saw the biggest gash in my little girls head that I have ever seen! I panicked a little. She panicked a little (and passed out for a second...yea for breath holding :( I knew we were destined for stitches immediately. The manager was freaking out, but very helpful. We got lots of free toys and cookies! By the time I got her calmed down and in her car seat we headed for the doctor. Carter was beside himself crying begging for Myah to forgive him (it really wasn't his fault). I dropped him off at the neighbors and cried myself to the doctors office knowing what was in store for my sweet little two year old that had no idea what was coming. Well about 35 minutes of being tied down later, we found ourselves with 8 stitches and two dum dum suckers (one for each hand). It was pretty traumatic for Myah and even more for me to watch. Sometimes I wonder what I signed up for when I chose to be a mom. It definitely was not one of my favorite moments. But we survived and it is healing up quite nicely!

Spring Soccer...Carter

It was Carter's first shot at soccer this spring. He had a good time. It was funny to watch him. Carter has a crazy imagination, so some days you would see him gazing over at the baseball game being played or at a cement truck pouring cement or maybe he would just be swinging on the goal posts, all while we are yelling at him to chase after the ball. He was pretty cute though the times he got into the game. He had a great time, and that was all that mattered anyway!

Spring Soccer...Camden

Camden had a lot of fun playing soccer this spring. His team wasn't wonderful, in fact I don't think they won a single game. But all of the boys were only first graders and many of the teams were a majority of second graders. I think they all improved a lot. Camden really liked playing and it was fun to watch him! This was the first year they had goalies. It was one of Camden's favorite positions to play. He deffinetly doesn't take after his mom there. I hated playing goalie. Having the ball kicked right at me always made me nervous. He was pretty good at it!

They never had formal pictures taken for some reason. I did my best atempt...couldn't quite get them to be serious!

He is a pretty handsome little soccer dude!

Carter's mom and me day.

Carter had a cute little "Mom, muffin and me" day at preschool. He took me to my chair, sang me a couple of songs, gave me a little book about his favorite things about me (low and behold he loves when I do tricks on my bike....news to me:). Then he served me muffins and a drink and we had a little brunch together. It was pretty cute. This kid just has a smile to die for don't you think...it gets him out of trouble way to often!

Thanks for the fun day Carter! I sure love you!

Happy birthday Camden!

In May my biggest boy turned 7 years old. I still can hardly believe he is so big! It has been fun to watch him grow up into a big kid and not just a little boy anymore. This year he was able to have a friend party (every other year at our house). He chose a sports party. We played soccer, football, baseball, basketball and of course had pinata. With 15 little boys running around my back yard, I was so thankful that mother nature cooperated and gave us a nice afternoon. I am not sure how I would have done inside my house. Her are just a few pictures from the afternoon that made me rather exhausted....but at least Camden had a smile on his face when it was all said and done!

Waiting for soccer to start.
Basketball

Baseball

The boys were actually pretty good to wait in line. We just split them into two teams to make it a little easier!

Pinata time!

Even Carter and Myah had fun! (I thought this picture was sweet!)

And cupcake time!

Celebrating Camden's big day at school! He got to get up in front of the class and read a few things about himself. It's funny to watch my crazy, spunky kid get so shy. He doesn't love all of the attention on himself!

On Camden's actual birthday we had a party with our family. We went to Frederico's for pizza and then bowling afterwards. I think he had a pretty fun day!

Bowling laser style!

It was pretty late by the time we got home and ready for bed. We then realized we hadn't given him the presents from our own family yet. So we sat down for a minute and had present time. I loved this picture, because of all of the gifts he got, he acted the most excited about this one. A globe....as much as this kid loves sports....geography is right up there next to it!

Happy birthday kiddo! I can't imaging life without you in it! We love having you as part of our family. You definitely keep things interesting and keeps us on our toes. But you have an amazing little spirit inside of you and we are so thankful to have you as are biggest little boy!

March 29, 2008

Thank you to my three beautiful chidren who have completely turned my world upside down. There have been greater lows and and greater highs than I have ever experienced in my life being your mom! I wish I would have realized the love my parents had for me when I was as little as you, but it wasn't until the first look into your eyes that I had any idea how they felt about me! Thanks for letting me be your mom!

And to you, little bundle nestled in my tummy....all I know about you, is that you love to wiggle and roll around, and you have three big siblings that can't wait for your arrival. I look forward to meeting you as well and already am in love with you! I am sure we have many adventures ahead of us!

Happy mother's day
to all you mothers out there. To my wonderful mom who I will always look up to and strive to be just like! To my husband's mother who I will forever be in debt to for producing such a great guy. To my grandmothers looking down on me from heaven....I love you and your example you set for me. And to all of you mothers who are such great examples to me and my family! Happy mother's day!

The Fun of the Chase

How many are we entertaining out there?
