4th of July weekend

Every year we go to the park and watch the fireworks from the stadium. It is a fun tradition. I didn't do a very good job at taking pictures. Here is Myah...I'm not sure she wanted her picture taken. The boys were off playing football with their dad and I never ventured down to take a picture. We had a fun night of food, family and fireworks! I love the fourth of July.

The next day we had Jeanie, Allison, Dallin and Saylor (Dan is away being a soldier) over for a BBQ, smores, and fireworks.

Darin and all of the neighbor dad's helped with a great firework display!

4th of July photo shoot

I hadn't had pictures of the kids taken in a while. So 4th of July weekend rolled around and I attempted a little photo shoot of the kids. The ones I liked the best made the header and side bar, but there were a lot of funny ones I wanted to remember. Most are unedited....I need more time in my day, but I still like them raw. So here are just a few of the cute, the funny and of course the silly.

I loved how Myah was doing a fake smile for me. She just kept saying "cheeeeeeese."Don't you love the squishy kissy face the boys are giving Myah!

I found this hairdo on a blog. It is suppose to be a star for the 4th of July. I'm not sure that is exactly what it looks like, but I thought it turned out cute anyway.

Typical Carter face pulling!

And luckily Myah found the Markers AFTER the photo shoot. She just doesn't quite get why she should ever need paper when her body works just fine!

This summer for a primary activity, the kids walked from the tabernacle to the temple. It was a nice day so we all went. Myah and I dropped the boys off and drove up to the temple (It's all uphill and it just wasn't close enough to go into labor quite yet!) and waited for the boys to get there. They all had a good time!

Carter, Kyler, Lewis, Kaden and Camden

bubble trouble!

What happens when you leave a 7-year old alone in a jetted tub with a bottle of bubbles for 5 minutes... ...lesson learned!

T-ball

Carter played T-ball again this year with all of the neighborhood boys. He had fun...but I think it will be good for him to play something a little more structured next year. I think he got a little bored. He had a hard time focusing on the game...but it's hard to blame him...I sometimes found myself a little bored watching. There was usually several parents out in the field running around with the kids. Everyone from the team hit each time and there weren't any outs or fouls. It's good practice and it was fun to be with all of his friends! Here are just a few of my favorite shots. Myah was usually found playing in the sandbox with the other kids. It was a hot year for t-ball...notice the rosy cheeks?

Carter and Lewis trying to keep each other entertained!

basketball camp

Camden was able to go to Aggie basketball camp this year. He loved it! He was actually a little nervous to meet real Utah state players, but once he got there he had a blast. He is a pretty good little ball player!

Getting inspiration from the big Stu himself!

Pool time!

Just having a little fun in the neighbors backyard. Myah absolutely adores putting on her swimsuit. If I let her, we would be playing in the water every single day!

The Fun of the Chase

How many are we entertaining out there?
