One more duck to my row...

A couple of years ago I did this post when Myah was born.  Thought I better do it with Dawson as well.  Kind of fun to see how much they all look alike!
He is definitely a fun little duck to have around!

Halloween

Halloween came and went.

We had a fairy...

 a football...
 A football team...
and a player who apparently had come back from the dead! (really he begged to be a mummy at the last minute, but we had spent a little to much on his costume to not have him wear it, so we improvised)
Darin was a poor sport for the first time in years!  I tried to get him to dress up as a referee for our football team, but he had lost the Halloween spirit...oh well, maybe next year!
My mom however had not...she loves this holiday! (Notice Myah's fat lip...read post below)
Other than the rain and the fact Myah couldn't eat any candy (again read post below) Halloween was a success!  Nothing like candy overload and crazy costumes!

teeth

This little lady just got the bad luck jean of our family.  The night before Halloween she was getting out of the tub when she slipped and fell and landed on a stool right on her front teeth.  Once Darin finally got her to breath he tried to assess the damage.  He could tell her lip was bleeding but then to his horror saw that three of her teeth were bleeding and the front right tooth was displaced and pointing towards her throat.  I almost lost it just looking at her.  She finally fell asleep on the couch and we waited to hear from our dentist.  He finally called at 9:45 and said he absolutely needed to see her tonight(we are really so thankful...what a nice guy!)! So we woke her up and headed to the dentist at 10:00 p.m.  To make a long story short, he was able to pop her tooth back into place.  Now we just have to wait and see if the tooth lives.  Any of the front teeth really, they are all still a little loose.  We will keep our fingers crossed.  So far so good.  Hopefully we won't have to resort to those fangs anytime soon!  So even though she is our girly girl...don't be surprised to know she can be as tough as any little boy...she's been taught well!

pumpkin walk

It just wouldn't be Oct. without the North Logan Pumpkin walk!  I think they really outdid themselves this year!

2 months...already?

Well the past 8 weeks have been somewhat of a blur. 4 kids...kind of crazy, but lots of fun. We just love our little Dawson. He is starting to smile and coo and his face lights up when we talk to him. I wish I could just slow time down and keep him little for a while longer. They just grow so fast. I haven't been very good at posting his first eight weeks...but don't worry, I've taken loads of pictures. I have tried to post some of my favorites and some of his first's. Here are just a few.

Don't worry...it hasn't been all fluffy baby blankets and yummy smelling lotion. This little guy has done his fair share of this....
But I'm trying to stay positive and think of the sculpted thighs I will have from all of the bouncing we do around here!

But at the end of the day, fussy or not, I just love this little guy to pieces. But seriously, look at that face. How could you not be in love with him!

2 month stats:
Weight: 10lbs. 15.5oz. 30%
Height: 21 3/4 in. 15%
Head: 15 1/4 in. 25%
We like to start them out big and then we shrink them :)

Don't miss the other new posts below. We have had a busy fall!

apple pickin

There is a cute little apple orchard by our house. We decided to go with some of our neighbors for a little apple picking. We had lots of fun. It was a great day... this fall has been great weather. I'm really not looking forward to winter :(

Camden's favorite part was climbing the trees.

Myah and Kenna putting the apples in the box for me.

Carter loved climbing as well! Myah....still not quite sure if she likes apples or not.

The boys are sure and we have been eating apples ever since!

Here is the crew. Carter, Kaden, Camden, Kyler, Kennedy, Myah, Kirsten and Macy.

a little bit of myah

I've posted all about the boys. Thought Myah deserved a post too. She has become quite the two year old. Full of sass but cute as a button. Here are some of some pictures of her this fall.
She is such a girl. Already loves posing for the camera!

She definitely likes to let us know if we have upset her!

Her first pink princess party. She was so excited to go and play with her friends all dressed up!
We love you Myah!

pumpkins

We took the kids to a local pumkin patch to pick out pumpkins. Most of the big ones were already gone, but we found quite a few smaller ones. It's always fun to watch them pick out their favorites! Here are some of my favorite pictures of the night.

Soccer

Soccer came and went. The boys had fun. They have both improved. It was fun to watch them. 4 games a week was a lot. I got tired. I was ready for the end. Until we do it all again in the spring! (What will I do when Myah wants to play too?)

New uniforms...yeah! However they are sporting MC colors. The SV in me is slowing fading, no worries I will always be a bobcat :)

Even Myah had fun. She usually felt bad she didn't get a treat at the end. Treats...that is an entire other blog post. What happened to oranges and water at half time?
Proud papa.
Proud mama. Even Dawson was a trooper most of the time. I didn't realize putting him in the sling made him look as though he is hanging himself. He really loves it. I promise.

The Fun of the Chase

How many are we entertaining out there?
