Myah's first dance recital

Myah had her first Dance recital last weekend. She had so much fun getting all dressed up and she loved getting to wear make-up.  I didn't love how old it made her look, but it is so much fun being able to do girl things with her.  She has loved dance class this year.  Not because she loves to dance as much as she loved going every week with her friends Nora and Macee.  It was the highlight of her week!  Here are just a couple shots after her performance.

Macee, Myah and Nora

Myah was also thrilled that her cousins could come and watch her.  Myah loves Clara!

 Funny girl!
And here is her debut.  Mostly this is for Oma since she couldn't make it.  We were proud of her.  She had nerves of steal.  It didn't even seem to phase her that the entire high school auditorium was packed.  She just did her own thing!  Way to go Myah!

Myah turned 4!

(*not sure if anyone even still reads this old blog anymore, but incase you come upon it, I have been playing catch up again....many new posts below, even more to come!)

Little miss Myah turned 4!!! I still can't believe she is getting so old! She had a fun day.  She started out by going to preschool.  It was fun for her to have me and Dawson come and share some fun pictures and stories about her.  When we came home, I let her play with friends all day!  That is her life!  She loves her friends and is so blessed to live by so many cute girls her age.  Especially being the only girl in our family, I am glad she gets plenty of girl time.  Her party was a princess/tangled party.  Papa and Nana and Oma came to share her fun night!

Getting ready for presents!
She was so excited to get a pop up castle!  Thanks oma!
Myah's favorite story is Pinkalicious.  She was excited to add to her collection!
Little Dawson getting in on the action!  He looks so old in this picture (sniff, sniff:( )
The present she was most looking forward too!  Sparkly shoes!
I wanted a picture of Carter, and apparently he is real proud of the fact he can flare his nostrils.  That was the only face he would pull for me.  He was real proud of it!
Oh the joy when they are loving each other!!!
Dawson loves shoes!!!  He doesn't care what they look like as long as he can get them on his feet!
Camden had a need to one up the flare....he went for the sucked in look!  Funny boys of mine!
We love Oma!
Papa Mike!
Nana and Papa!  We love you too!
The best shot I got of our crazy crew!
The cake.  They never turn out how I envision in my head, but she thought it was cool!
admiring the cake!
She got them all!

I love her face in this clip.  Just thought it needed to be shared!

Dawson....18 months!

My little Dawsy wassy, D-dog, little D, Daws man...you name it is already 18 months old (well he was in this picture....now he is 20!)  He is such a joy to have around.  He is crazy....but oh so much fun.  He is such a little adventurer.  The other day I was doing things in the kitchen.  He came and got a pot out of the cupboard and then took off out the back door.  When I looked to see what he was doing, I saw this...

He loves to explore, he loves to fill things up and dump them out.  He loves to get the water bottle and squirt anything and everyone in sight!  He LOVES to be outside!  He loves cars and constantly begs to get in either Darin's or my car and just climb around on the seats.  He loves to climb on anything.  He loves to chew on anything.  He is like a mouse and chews threw anything to get what he wants.  Cereal boxes, candy wrappers, paper cups....I sometimes wonder about him.  He has the cutest smile on the planet and gives the best slobbery kisses known to mankind.  He throws fits when he doesn't get what he wants and has mastered pulling on my leg to get my attention. He says mama, dada, ball, shoes, treat, baba and a whole bunch more that I am still trying to decode!  I just love him to pieces and am so glad to have him in our lives!!!

18 month stats:
 weight: 21 lbs. 4 oz    5%
Height: 31 inches    15%
Head: 18 1/2 inches    25%

He may be little but he sure is cute!

St. Patty's day breakfast!

I have always stuck with the green eggs and milk on St. Patty's day.  Thanks to pinterest my life has become much more colorful.  I don't know why I had never thought to have the day full of rainbows instead, but it was much more fun.  I had extravagant plans for all the different rainbow meals I was going to make on this day....this was as far as I got, but hey....they were pretty darn cute pancakes if I must say so myself!

snow day

After a fairly warm and dry Jan. (for Utah) we finally got some snow.  And even better it was on a day off from school!  So we all bundled up and headed out to play in the fluffy white stuff.  It didn't last very long, but we had fun in it while it lasted!

Star wars party

My kiddos only get to have friend parties every other year.  Carter was pretty excited, because turning 7 was his year. He has been wanting a star wars party all year.  Well we invited the boys, made them all Jedi costumes, light sabers and had one heck of a star wars party. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking!

Star wars bingo....yes I did make an attempt to dress the part....it was only an attempt

The boys were trained to become Jedi's.  Then they had to face Darth Vader!

Camden was a good sport....even when all of the boys chased him clear down the street!
Pod races...

Jedi Master Darin

Myah got right in on the fun.  We called her Padme.  She loved it! :)
He was very into the part!

We had a fun day!  Exhausting....but fun!!!

The Fun of the Chase

How many are we entertaining out there?
