The boat

My parents were done with all of the fun....now we have much to look forward to! We bought ourselves a boat.

Here is just one of our adventures with Allison and her crew...we missed Dan!
Myah and Saylor saying a prayer.  The boat broke down for a minute and we needed all the help we could get.  I thought this was pretty priceless!

St. George

It is all a warm dream now....but we had fun...especially at the pool!

40°

Im soooooo behind. I still need to post the end of summer, all of fall, Christmas, a fabulous trip to Hawaii that feels like a dream now and all of our happenings this winter. I really will catch up....someday when i have a minute. For now though I just had to post the happiness i felt today when I was driving Myah to preschool. The thermometer read 40°! Not only that but Myah asked what that bright light shining in her eyes was. I happily replied "the SUN". For those of you who dont live here in the Arctic with me are probably wondering why this event is so great and especially why its worth a blog post. Well Jan has been rough. We have been lucky to warm above 10°· It has been bleak and dreary looking outside everday to see the fog and muck in the air.  The days we have had sun, the smog was to thick to see it or feel its warmth. Well today  is finally Feb.! We survived Jan.! The air has cleared, the sun warmed my face and my soul and even though the inversion will most likely return its ugly face...today is beautiful and for that I am so grateful. Happy February!

In August we had our annual Chatterton Family reunion in Paradise.  My kids look forward to it every year which makes me happy, because they rarely know half of the people there so it is always fun for them to make new friends.  They always think we are going to "Uncle Jerry's reunion" for some reason they always see him as the one in charge. I think it is always fun to see all of my aunts, uncles and cousins and their kids. This year didn't disappoint!
The first night I took Myah and Dawson home to sleep in their beds while Darin stayed with the older two and camped in the cabins.  Dawson did NOT want to leave, so I bribed him with a large marshmallow to eat on the car ride home.  This is what I found when I went to get him out of his car seat!  Who knew a single marshmallow could do so much damage!

On Sat. they were able to rent the water slide and the "Little Bear Bottom"  It had been several years since they had been able to rent it...I guess it is pretty hard to reserve.  Anyway my kids and Darin were in heaven.  They had so much fun zooming down the hill covered in bubbles!
Myah was a little unsure of whether or not she would have a good time as she looked down the hill....
Dawson thought it was great on the other hand and wouldn't stop climbing back up to do it again and again!

Myah finally dared to go down with her dad....

Not a fan after all!!! She takes after her mother a little more than I would like:)

Here are lots of pictures of the boys having fun!

Baby Otto
Lesli and her boys!

This is Myah and my cousins little girl Kylie.  They had so much fun together.  Myah still asks about her cousin Kylie from California!

After the slide we went back to the camp and played all night.  Look at Darin being such a good sport with all of those kids!
And here is our picture of the "Little Thelma's" My grandma left behind a great legacy...and this is only half of them!
 Until next year!

The Fun of the Chase

How many are we entertaining out there?
